Red Basketweave Cowl

This was a very simplet basketweave stitch used to make a cowl. I just cast on 90 stitches and knit it in the round. It was very easy and turned out to be really pretty. It’s a bit too tight fitting around a neck and I would cast on more than 90 stitches if I made it again. I love this yarn. It’s so very soft and lovely to wear. Unfortunately it’s discontinued and hard to find. I’m happy to still have some in my stash for more projects.

I used Plymouth Yarn Baby Alpaca Ampato yarn in scarlett red. I used my new Addi Click knitting needles in a size 10 and loved using both the knitting needles and the yarn.
